E-Certification Platform for Agro-inputs Regulation
The National Agricultural Seeds Council (NASC) has revamped the national infrastructure for the testing, registration, release, production, marketing, distribution, certification, quality control, supply and use of seeds in Nigeria.
This SeedCodex Portal equips all actors in the agro-inputs value chain in Nigeria and beyond with the modern technological tools for compliance with the revamped regulations and protocols. In collaboration with its partners, NASC aims to ensure that SeedCodex brings together best-in-class mobile and web technologies to achieve full, rigorous, and secure traceability of the entire supply chain. Where necessary, blockchain, machine learning, and similar tools, are integrated to maintain high performance and integrity.
